AGA Recruitment offers the following range of solutions to your staffing needs. Whenever or wherever that need may arise, please contact us for an immediate and helpful response. We will be pleased to act as your sub‑contractor to fill the gaps or as your sole contractor, recruiting and managing all your outsourced staff. Our aim is to build long-term relationships with clients such as yourselves.

We provide care and catering staff for:

  • Nursing and Residential homes, Day Centres, Homeless Shelters and Hostels, Schools, Industrial Canteens, Restaurants, Hotels, Pubs.

We offer:

  • Last minute, sickness and holiday cover.
  • Temporary, temp to perm or permanent staff on an ongoing basis.
  • Part time or full time staff with flexible hours.
  • 24/7 out of hours service.

Care Home ManagerHaving the responsibility for the day to day running of a care home.Holds or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services. Registered General Nurse (RGN)
Registered General Nurse (RGN)Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care, based on a nursing model of care. Qualified Nurses, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Health Care AssistantSupporting the RGN to implement an agreed plan of care with the patientHolds or working towards an NVQ in Health Care.
Support Worker with learning difficulties experienceWorking alongside adults who have learning difficulties. Mandatory achievement of NVQ. Level 2 in Care within the first 18 months of employment.
Support Worker with mental health experienceWorking to ensure a healthy and normal lifestyle for people with a mental illness.NVQ Level 3 in Care or NVQ Level 2 in Care and willing to undertake NVQ Level 3.
Support Worker with alcohol and drug misuseWorking with vulnerable young people and adults to help them to sort out their immediate needs.FDAP’s Drug & Alcohol Professional Certification. Work towards Level 3 Certificates for working with Substance Misuse.
Chef – Nursing and Residential Homes, Day CentresControlling and managing the day to day running of the kitchen and catering services within a nursing/residential home.City and Guilds (or equivalent) 706/1 and 2 or NVQ Level II/III and Food Safety Certificate.
Chef – Schools, Industrial Canteens, Pubs, Restaurants, HotelsRunning a kitchen in a non- care or residential home setting.Qualified to SVQ Level 2 (or City and Guilds 706 Level 2) plus current Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate.
Catering AssistantAssisting with the preparation and serving of meals.Work towards qualifications for food hygiene, health and safety and food preparation techniques.
Kitchen AssistantDoing basic food preparation and being responsible for cleaning the kitchen.Work towards qualifications for food hygiene, health and safety and food preparation techniques.
Dining Room AssistantCleaning and tidying the dining room to a high standard of cleanliness.Work towards appropriate NVQs.
Laundry AssistantProviding a laundry service to all residents, including washing and pressing personal clothing and linenWork towards Level 2 NVQ Certificates in Laundry Operations and Laundry and Dry Cleaning Technology.
Domestic Assistant/CleanerMaintaining the highest levels of cleanliness in bedrooms and public areas within the home.NVQ Level 1/2 Cleaning and Support Services plus knowledge of infection and hygiene procedures, health and safety and COSHH regulations.
