The potential candidate must provide a high quality of catering in the establishment, carry out the organisation of kitchen staff providing direction and supervision, ensure health and safety in the kitchen, including food hygiene and ensure kitchen and associated areas are kept in a thoroughly clean condition.

Responsibilities include:

  • Health and Safety in the kitchen including food hygiene
  • Preparation and cooking of food and serving meals at required times
  • Planning and maintaining of menus according to dietary needs
  • Regular stock control, rotation of stock

The Cook must have sound knowledge and experience of planning varied and nutritional menus including special diets.
